Mr. Jo Hulbaekdal – holds an MSc in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, Norwegian Institute of Technology (1987) and a BSc in Russian, University of Bergen, Norway (1980)
 

Jo’s current position is Manager, Safety and Risk Management Services for DNV Kazakhstan LLP, located in Astana.
 

Mr. Hulbaekdal has accumulated a long and solid experience related to Risk Management and HSE services. His fields of expertise include safety, environment, risk management, emergency response, standards and regulations, HSE assurance and audits.
 

Over the last 25 years Jo has held HSE advisory and managerial positions within the oil & gas industry both in the North Sea and in the Caspian region:
 

• Aker Solutions, Atyrau - HSE Manager
• BP Azerbaijan, Baku – Safety and emergency response advisor
• Acona, Baku – Country Manager Azerbaijan
• Statoil, Stavanger/Baku – Risk assessment advisor
