Murat Munbayev
General Manager - Strategic Planning and Analysis

Murat Munbayev was appointed general manager of Strategic Planning and Analysis of Tengizchevroil (TCO) LLP in May 2010. 

Munbayev joined Tengizchevroil in 2002 as Deputy Treasury Manager and has served in several positions of increasing responsibility over his nine years of service. In 2004, Munbayev was seconded to Chevron Corporation in San Ramon, California, and returned to TCO as the Manager of Finance Marketing and Transportation Support.  Munbayev then joined Strategic Planning and Analysis as Deputy General Manager in 2007. 

Munbayev joined the banking industry in 1999 and served at various top tier international financial institutions before joining Tengizchevroil.

Munbayev is a native of Almaty, Kazakhstan.  Munbayev graduated from Warsaw University in Poland in 1998 with a Master’s degree in international economic relations.
