The Kashagan oil field will be the central focus for the conference this year. Kashagan is the largest oil discovery in 30 years, with a projected output of 75,000 bpd in 2012, and up to 1.5 million bpd in 2021. Operations and output will commence this year which presents huge business opportunities for domestic and global oil and gas companies.

Annoucement: the new date for the Atyrau Oil & Gas event has been changed. The OilTech Atyrau conference will take place on 3-4 April 2012, while the Atyrau Oil & Gas exhibition will be held on 3-5 April 2012.
