Programme
OilTech Atyrau attracts a number of highly respected speakers who present a range of subject matter through technical workshops, plenary sessions, panel debates and round table discussions.
The focus of the conference this year is the Kashagan project, one of the largest oil field developments in the world, has estimated reserves of 4.8 billion tons of oil. Situated off the North Caspian Sea, commercial production is expected to start at the end of 2012.
Given the wealth of industry developments within and close to the Atyrau Region, the conference is the ideal forum to discuss and share knowledge about domestic oil and gas issues with local and international industry leaders.
For the first time this year, the conference programme this year has been designed in collaboration with the Atyrau Conference Committee. The group comprises forward thinking, and respected industry representatives from the Ministry of Oil & Gas of Kazakhstan, Tengizchevroil, Salans, DNV, HSBC, Shell, Mubadala, Embavedoil, Strategic Partners International, Lloyd's Register Kazakhstan, and others.
